Beatriz Trindade Martins Vidigal Barrocas Lencart. Completed the PhD in Chemistry in 2020 by Universidade de Lisboa Faculdade de Ciências, Master in Chemistry - Specialization in Chemistry in 2014 by Universidade de Lisboa Faculdade de Ciências and Bachelor degree in Technological Chemistry - Materials and environment in 2011 by Universidade de Lisboa Faculdade de Ciências. In 2020, she moved to Institute of Environmental Technology, VŠB-Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic as a researcher. Her research interests have been focussed on the synthesis and characterization of nanocrystalline semiconductors and in their application mainly for pollutants photocatalytic degradation. Currently, her area of interest is the utilization of functionalized semiconductor nanomaterials for the photocatalytic reduction of CO2, photocatalytic generation of H2, photocatalytic decomposition of methanol and emergent pollutants photocatalytic degradation. Currently, she is a Researcher in CERENA. She has 23 scientific papers published in international peer-review journals, and she is first author of 15, and 19 were published in first quartile (Q1). The 331 citations of her published papers correspond to an h-index of 13. She also have more 6 conference proceedings. She have been participated in several national and international conferences with 24 oral and 26 poster communications. She was involved in 9 research projects and she is also a referee for international peer-review journals (Elsevier, Springer and MDPI) and a guest editor of a special issue for the journal Materials - "Advances in Photocatalysis: Photocatalytic Materials and Applications".
