Sílvia Carvalho graduated in Chemical Engineering (IST, 2001) and obtained her Ph.D. in Chemistry at the end 2007 at ITQB (New University of Lisbon). In her post-doctoral research she worked in the supramolecular chemistry field using both computational (CICECO, Aveiro University) and experimental studies (CQE, Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon). At this moment she is a researcher in the project gasostransde and has been working with different nanoporous materials for the storage and controlled release of NO and H₂S.
