GREENMETALS MAPPING is an innovation platform that reinforces Europe’s strategic autonomy in critical raw materials by delivering a European-scale digital infrastructure for AI-powered resource intelligence. It responds to the urgent need to reduce dependency on non-EU supply, and ensure data traceability and environmental accountability, in line with the EU Green Deal and the Critical Raw Materials Act. The platform integrates artificial intelligence from end to end - from data preparation and geological modelling to valuation, institutional reporting, and user interaction. It includes two interoperable products: (1) a Geospatial Intelligence Suite that combines AI-based mineral targeting, risk analysis, and environmental sensitivity mapping; and (2) a Circular Economy KPI Dashboard that enables data traceability, carbon intensity estimation, and strategic reporting based on EU Taxonomy and CSRD indicators.
