Graduated in 2004, Mining Engineering, from faculty of Engineering, Federal University of Technology Akure, Nigeria. Worked in mining industry with specialties in: mine design and planning, mining project management and financial/economic evaluations: CFA, NPV, IRR, PBP, ROI, & DSCR, minerals quality assessment using XRF, XRD, and chemical analysis, minerals commodities sourcing and supply. In March 2009 obtained Masters Degree in Applied Environmental Geology from Cardiff University, United Kingdom. Afterwards, continued working in the industry in various capacities: Planning Engineer, Quarry Manager, and Mining Consultant with various functions, such as: mine design and planning: short to medium term planning, long term planning, mine production planning and scheduling, operation management and productivity optimization, rock mechanics: structural mapping and mine slopes stability analysis, mine safety and health management and training, mining project feasibility studies, mineral exploration e planning, and general management. Proceeded to update knowledge and competence in the fast evolving global mining sector by obtaining an EU mining industry focused master degree in 2020: International Masters in Sustainable and Innovative Natural Resource Management (SINReM), jointly offered by Ghent University Belgium, Freiberg University of Mining and Technology Germany, and Uppsala University Sweden. Specialized in Rock Mechanics, specifically Underground Excavations Stability Analyses and Modelling using Rocscience geological structure analyses software DIPS, and 3D excavation stability analyses and modelling software, UnWedge, Worked as Strategic mine Planning Engineer with an Iron Ore mining company in Northern Sweden, before proceeding to study for a PhD in Mining and Geo-Resources Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, Portugal. I specialize in use of advance mine planning and design, and optimization software such as Surpac, Vulcan, and Deswik.
