Tiago Palmeira is a Pre-Award Officer at Cerena. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degree in chemistry from University of Coimbra and his PhD in Chemistry from Instituto Superior Técnico, in 2020. Tiago’s research journey was mostly dedicated to study the photophysical properties of carbon-13 enriched fullerenes and newly developed organic compounds envisioning their possible application as Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLED’s). In 2021, he worked as an application specialist in spectroscopy at Sarspec. As an application specialist, Tiago has helped develop and test new products, created new application and technical notes, and delivered costumer technical support. Nowadays, he made the transition into the research management, more specifically to the Pre-award realm.
