CERENA's PhD and MSc students awarded at The 16th International Forum-Contest of Students and Young Researchers "Topical Issues of Rational Use of Natural Resources"

We are very pround to announce that CERENA's PhD students Ana Sousa and João Neves, and former MSc students Ana Filipa Duarte and André Pinto were considered best speakers on their breakout sessions at the 16th International Forum-Contest of Students and Young Researchers "Topical Issues of Rational Use of Natural Resources". The event took place from 17 to 19 of June and was organized by the St. Petersburg Mining University under the patronage of the International Competence Centre for Mining-Engineering Education under the auspices of UNESCO.

The event counted with more than1000 participants, more than 600 presentations, and participation of 180 universities from 50 countries divided in ten Breakout Sessions.

Our students were awarded, at the Closing ceremony, on the 23rd of June under the four following breakout session cathegories:

Ana Sousa: “MIDSTREAM”

João Neves: “SOLID MINERALS MINING TECHNOLOGIES. INDUSTRIAL AND LABOR SAFETY”

André Pinto: “OIL & GAS FIELD DEVELOPMENT”

Ana Filipa Duarte: “GEOLOGICAL MAPPING, EXPLORATION, AND PROSPECTING OF MINERAL RESOURCES”
